Global Climate Collective is a community working to increase climate resilience, restore the balance of ecosystems and support our Indigenous neighbors in developing sustainable economies via agribusiness and other sustainable pursuits. Too many Native peoples are living in poverty and because their natural food sources are stressed due to changes in weather, are hungry. They need strength to fight for humanity and our collective ecology.

Our projects fund the purchase of land that Indigenous people have managed for millennia but for which they have no legal rights. GCC funds Indigenous people pursuit of law degrees to be prepared to fight for their rights in court. We support development of farming methods adapted to the new climate to resolve hunger and poverty. We will be cleaning a river polluted by industry and addressing health issues from which locals suffer. These Indigenous partners have successful projects in process to mitigate climate change, and our projects support them.

  • Grace is a bachelor’s degree candidate at Union College where she was elected as Vice President of Sustainability. She designed and implemented projects involving students and staff to decrease their carbon footprint, and has served her community through environmental education. Grace has volunteered extensively on organic farms because healthy soil is critical to mitigating climate change. She is dedicated to a fulfilling career in climate and Indigenous rights.

  • Christine formed a strong trust with Amazonian Shuar and Cotopaxi and Otavalan Quichua tribes in Ecuador while leading small groups of people devoted to learning wisdom and sustainable living in balance with the Earth. She is dedicated to the well-being of Indigenous peoples worldwide, recognizing their vital role in mitigating climate change. She is proud mother to her Amazonian Shuar daughter Grace. Christine earned a master’s degree in counseling psychology and a post-master’s certificate in education from University of Pennsylvania, and has extensive experience in business and healthcare.
